So when I google it. I was amazed to the scenic view of the THACHI. The view was absolutely eye catching and and the sun set picture wear so enchanting.
I google it more about the package and found the person who had effort behind the tourism for Thachi valley and gave the best deal for my 2 days stay.

Day -1
How to reach Thachi valley
Take the bus from chandigarh 43sector petrol pump (opposite bus stand) at night which will cost you around 700-1200 and get down at AUT in morning.the bus will take around 7hours. Make sure u tell the conductor before because u might fall asleep
After reaching AUT. Walk for 3 minutes to reach local bus stand which start operating from 8am there are various private and govt. Buses which will take you to thachi valley in 2 hours.
Recommend- take a govt.bus if traveling with ladies because ladies get 50% off on bus fare
Just before one kilometer from thachi valley get down (again u can get help of conductor) he ll make sure that u ll get down Jst below the cottage...2 rch dr also u ll start experiencing trekking as u hav 2 trek for 2-3 min 2 enter the cottage,
Cottage is a very old construction bt very cozy
Check-in the cottage,have little rest and brunch.
You can have small trek to Hadimba temple which 4 km take about 4-5hours,
I met Bala ram (care taker plus guide )who is resident and a student will take care of you and will be guiding you.
Start your trek with grampanchayat temple which is in just in starting of town
The trek is small and good for warm up and smooth but very and clean trail through apple orchids, the higher you trek the iconic view it becomes. Spend a good time at Hadimba temple and get clicked your self.
In evening Come back to cottage and relax and get ready for bonfire and don't forget to party and with music and have delicious dinner cooked by (Sharma ji)
Recommend- if you want to have drinks make sure you carry your own stuff don't buy them from local market as the quality is worth buying.
Day 2
Get up early to enjoy the beauty of sunrise with hot mug cup of coffee
You have two option for the day,one is you can stay at cottage and relax your self in lap of nature or the second one,is to go to the chanjwala peak trek which is almost a 18km trek.At top there is Shiva temple
chuanjwala trek is almost at the distance of 9 km from cottage
There is an option to hire a taxi, which will cost you around 200/-per head and will make your distance 10km shorter. But the adventure is in trekking.It will take you from the town market,meadows ,deodar trees, broken bridge and farms.
Up in the hill, you will not find any trail you just have to either follow the hooves of the cattle or have to make your own way to the Shiva temple.
Trek is moderate and can be done without any prior experience. The most encouraging factor of trek which kept me going was little left snow near Parvati temple which was on the way to Shiva temple.It was almost 7hours trek,Most of the trekker give up in between of the trail -said bala ram.
Recommend- make sure that you carry your lunch, water and some Snickers or energy booster etc with you.
Day -3
So it was my last day in nature so I thought to enjoy to the fullest so got up early and got ready to go to Gaun beed waterfall
Guan beed waterfall is 2 km trek from cottage so it becomes total of 4 km. It's actually towards downside of the town and the trail is very narrow. so mend your step and be alert always.
It take around 1:30hour to reach waterfall and you can relax there for a while. The sound of fall is so sanatorium that one can stay for hours.
After i came back from waterfall had lunch now had to say bye to bala ram(care taker) and sharma ji (cook)who helped me in the trip. They gave me great memories to cherish
I took the last bus to aut just outside from where I had got down at 4pm to reach Aut bus stand.
Recommend- Enquire about the weather before so you can carry you stuff accordingly.
